And May's almost over. 3 days of break before flying into June.
I was in bus 36 the other day and this guy was sitting opposite of me. He was laterally covered in tattoos and you wouldnt want to mess with him. So he took out this DIY cross-stitch pack and started doing his thang. I was pretty amazed that he actually had the patience to pull the thread INANDOUT and INANDOUT, despite the bumpy ride, despite the weird stares (he was sitting down so practically everyone was looking down at his direction. It wasn't a very big piece of cross stitch cloth, so i'm assuming that he's making something for his girl. Sweet and unexpected from a guy like that ain't it, i would never expect a machoahbeng guy to hold onto something so fine like the needle :)
After combing the whole of orchard road and suntec, my shopping buddy (choon teck) and I embarked on another journey, to bencoolen street looking for triple d photoshop. We walked, again. From suntec down to national library, into iluma (just to have a feel) and then finally down to bencoolen. I bought my 35mm backing, and THANKS ARH, i've gotten a defective item. Whats better? I've no receipt for the exchange.
So later on, it'll be either a fruitful or wasted trip down.
Finally! a dinner get together with my family later at marche. My sister's finally turning 21. Sounds errr, good?

heh. Its gonna be 3am soon and i'm gonna meet choon teck in a few hours time for tennis. SO WHY AM I NOT ASLEEP?
I've yet to pack my bag laaaaaaa. And I need to head down to peninsula plaza to develop my 120mm films. AND! i'm gonna invest on a gd 35mm adaptor. taping the film to the coil just wont work and having to unload the film in an opaque bag is juz so, leceh.
And my lappie has a new shell for now. Ships ahoy! :)
I'm done uploading some photos into fb, and hopefully if my first roll is passeable, i'll load them into fb as well.
k 'nuff for now, the fan is blowing at me and i'm starting to feel sleepy. in fact, i was sleepy since the past few hours and i'm still up meddling with my lappie. stubborn, u call that. or watever u find in the dictionary.

layover's almost over.
Flying Solo by Chris Brown ft. Dr. Dre. My current fav.
Finally i got my holga from mr. rehan. i'm pretty shocked that everything's kinda manual. From unloading of used film, where u've to place the camera in an opaque bag or box to do the unloading. And counting 36 clicks to make sure the film is correctly winded. Now thats a challenge. And when i capture those pretty images with this vintage piece, i'll be damn happy.
Love hurts, but sometimes its a gd hurt. |
